Table of ContentsThe balance is usually paid the second day after you arrive. They only accept cash. (They do not accept debit or credit cards.) The restaurant bill is paid after the meal. The breakfast is $65.00 pesos. Lunch and supper will vary in price a(For exchange rate information click here.) (Each will meal will be paid together on one check) Each group will have a person designated to exchange money who is not the team leader. This person will change the money for the hotel bill, paying for the groups meals, paying for the bus and for changing money for the individuals in the group. We have each person put their money in an envelope with their name and the amount in dollars. Bills: $500.00 pesos, $200.00 pesos, $100 pesos, $50 pesos, and $20.00 pesos. Coins: $20 pesos, $10 pesos, $5.00 pesos, $2.00 pesos, $1.00 peso, 50 centavos, 20 centavos, and 10 centavos. Every is tipped here. In the restaurants we tip daily. Many times the waiters only source of income is tips. For the bus driver and maids we tip at the end of the week.For the maids, it is usually a few pesos per person per day. For the bus driver it varies. If your group is large enough, a bus is a good value. The bus is paid early in the week. The cost per day is $650.00 pesos in town and $1000.00 pesos for the day that we go to the pueblo. Each trip to the airport is $500.00 pesos (Exchange rate informtion click here.)
