1. Where is Aguascalientes?

Aguascalientes is located 313 miles from Mexico City and 510 miles from Laredo Texas.

2. How long have you been there?

We arrived in Mexico City on April 24, 1999 after going to language school in San Jose, Costa Rica from March 28, 1998 until April 23, 1999.  . We arrived in Aguascalientes on May 15, 1999.  We will complete 9 years here in May, 2008.

3. What do you do?

We are church planters.  We begin new churches.  The churches that we begin are not how we picture churches in the U.S.  Many times it is a small group meeting in someone's home

4. What do you like the most about Mexico?

We like many things about Mexico.  We love the people here in Aguascalientes.  We like many of the foods here.  W We also like the slow pace of life when we are able to take advantage of it.

5. Do you drink the water? 

No, we do not drink the water from the facet.  We buy purified water in large bottles.  They are delivered to our house.

6. What do you miss the most in the U.S.?

We miss family the most.  We also miss the convenience of some things.  We miss being able to find certain types of foods.  We also miss our favorite restaurants.

7. What is your favorite Mexican food?

Tacos, but they are not like the tacos in the U.S.  They are on small corn tortillas with beef and cheese.  Another favorite is chiliquilas which is a breakfast food.
